Prof. Mohammad Yamin joined the Faculty of Economics and Administration at King Abdulaziz University in 2009. Prof. Yamin held a tenured Academic Level C position at the University of Canberra (UC), Australia, prior to joining King Abdulaziz University. Prof. Yamin has also worked in various data and management positions, including as a Database Administrator at the Australian government’s Department of Human Services (DHS) from 1997-2001. Since 2005, Prof. Yamin has taken active and significant interest in advocating for an IT framework to improve the management of Hajj. He has also written papers on several topics and disciplines of Information systems, Information technology, Social Sciences and Mathematics. His recent research is on topics in Management Information Systems (MIS).
His research hasappeared in journals such as The Computing Science and Technology International Journal, Journal of Software Engineering & Applications, Journal of Service Science and International Journal of Wireless & Mobile Networks
